Best HP Printer for Photo Printing

Photo printing is where modern HP inkjet shines. Here is what to look for in a photo printer and which HP models actually deliver gallery-quality output.

What makes a photo printer good

Pigment-based black with dye-based colour, six-colour ink systems, borderless A4/8.5x11 printing, and a tray that handles glossy and matte photo paper without jamming.

Top picks for home photo prints

HP ENVY Inspire 7958e and 7255e print borderless 8.5x11 photos and have HP Smart auto-enhance built in.

A note on photo paper

Always feed photo paper one sheet at a time and let the print dry for at least one minute before stacking.
